\"\"<\/a>It’s nice to hear that “Houston has NO problem”. Weeks ago, the IFMA<\/a> and FM community held their breath and watched the reports about Hurricane Harvey. Many of us FM’ er and FM Consultants<\/a> have doubted whether the situation can be normalized so that the IFMA World Workplace <\/a>can take place again. On the other hand, however, we are experienced facility managers and we know from our experience that good crisis management must always be able to make the core business work again as quickly as possible. It would probably also be a minor embarrassment if our profession in particular had failed at our own congress due to a natural disaster and if the congress had been cancelled or postponed.<\/p>\n

All the more we as guests of the conference admire how professionally and on time the parties involved in the organisation of the conference got the situation under control and now obviously everything is ready to celebrate our profession. KUDOS and THANK YOU!!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Es ist sch\u00f6n zu h\u00f6ren, das “Houston KEIN Problem” hat. Vor Wochen hat die IFMA<\/a> und FM Community den Atem angehalten und gebannt auf die Berichte \u00fcber Hurricane Harvey geschaut. Viele von uns FM’er und FM Consultants<\/a> haben daran ein wenig gezweifelt ob sich die Situation wieder so normalisieren l\u00e4sst, dass der IFMA World Workplace<\/a> stattfinden kann. Wir sind jedoch auf der anderen Seite erfahrene Facility Manager und wir wissen aus unsere Erfahrung heraus, dass durch gutes Krisen Management immer m\u00f6glich sein muss das Kerngesch\u00e4ft so schnell wie m\u00f6glich wieder arbeitsf\u00e4hig zu machen. Es w\u00e4re wohl auch eine kleine Blamage wenn gerade unsere Profession beim eigenen Kongress aufgrund einer Naturkatastrophe scheitern w\u00fcrde und der Kongress ausgefallen w\u00e4re oder verlegt worden w\u00e4re.<\/p>\n

Um so mehr bewundern wir als G\u00e4ste des Konferenz wie professionell und rechtzeitig die beteiligten Parteien rund um die Organisation der Konferenz die Situation in den Griff bekommen haben und nun offensichtlich alles bereit ist um unsere Profession zu feiern. KUDOS und DANKE!!!<\/p>\n
