At the finish line

Now is the last chance to claim all missing data or paperwork and to call for the remedy of all detected deficiencies …

At the finish line of a building project the building and the technical equipment have to be properly put into operation. This transition phase is commonly known  worldwide, is being proceeded according to local laws and requirements and understood among contractors and the building owners as beginning of the warranty and liability phase for the building.

In this phase all operation systems undergo meticulous tests, deficiencies are documented and a schedule for remedial actions is stipulated. Checks on quality and completeness are done for all relevant documentation (e.g O&M-Manuals) for the building operation. Several checks and verification on local and international security standards are supposed to be done and there also has to be a proof that the building is safe.

The most important phase in the life cycle of a building

Commissioning is one of the most important phases in the life cycle of buildings to avoid future costs and to guarantee a smooth FM-operation.
